Politologiya və fəlsəfə kafedrasının müdiri Dr. Orxan Vəliyev sentyabrın 16-da Bakıda keçirilən Türk Dövlətləri Təşkilatının (TDT) aparıcı milli analitik mərkəzlərinin II Beynəlxalq Konfransında qatılıb.
Azərbaycan Respublikasının İqtisadi İslahatların Təhlili və Kommunikasiya Mərkəzinin təşkilatçılığı ilə baş tutan tədbir "Daimi məsləhətləşmələr və birgə tədqiqatlar vasitəsilə Türk Dövlətləri Təşkilatı çərçivəsində iqtisadi əməkdaşlığın gücləndirilməsi" mövzusuna həsr olunub.
Konfransda üzv ölkələr arasında daimi məsləhətləşmələr, birgə tədqiqatlar və əlaqələndirilmiş siyasət tədbirləri vasitəsilə iqtisadi əlaqələrin dərinləşdirilməsi məsələləri diqqət mərkəzində olub. Müzakirələr zamanı ticarət və investisiya, nəqliyyat-logistika, enerji əməkdaşlığı, rəqəmsal transformasiya, süni intellekt, innovasiya ekosistemləri, ərzaq təhlükəsizliyi, dayanıqlı inkişaf və insan kapitalının inkişafı kimi əsas istiqamətlər geniş təhlil edilib, eləcə də Orta Dəhlizin strateji roluna xüsusi diqqət yetirilib.
Tədbirin açılış mərasimində Azərbaycan Respublikası Prezidentinin köməkçisi – Prezident Administrasiyasının Xarici siyasət məsələləri şöbəsinin müdiri Hikmət Hacıyev, Türk Dövlətləri Təşkilatının Baş katibi Kubanıçbek Ömüraliyev, Milli Məclis sədrinin müavini Musa Qasımlı, İqtisadi İslahatların Təhlili və Kommunikasiya Mərkəzinin icraçı direktoru Vüsal Qasımlı və Türkiyə Böyük Millət Məclisinin üzvü, AK Partiyanın Türk dövlətləri ilə əlaqələr üzrə sədr müavini Kürşad Zorlu çıxış ediblər.
Siyasətçiləri, alimləri, analitik mərkəzlərin, beynəlxalq təşkilatların, maliyyə qurumlarının və biznes nümayəndələrini bir araya gətirən konfrans qarşılıqlı təcrübə mübadiləsi aparmaq və TDT çərçivəsində iqtisadi əməkdaşlığın gələcək inkişaf istiqamətlərini müəyyənləşdirmək üçün mühüm platforma rolunu oynayıb.

Head of department at international conference
Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy, participated in the Second International Conference of Leading National Analytical Centers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Baku on September 16, 2026. The conference, titled “Enhancing Economic Cooperation across the Organization of Turkic States through Continuous Consultations and Joint Research,” was organized by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The conference focused on strengthening economic cooperation among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States through continuous consultations, joint research, and coordinated policy action. Key areas of discussion included trade and investment, transport and logistics, energy cooperation, digital transformation, innovation, food security, sustainable development, and institutional coordination.
The opening ceremony featured Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration; Kubanychbek Omuraliyev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States; Musa Gasimli, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication; and Kurshad Zorlu, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye and Vice Chairman of the Justice and Development Party responsible for relations with the Turkic States.
The discussions addressed a wide range of issues, including deeper economic integration across the Turkic world, the strategic role of the Middle Corridor, trade and investment cooperation, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, innovation ecosystems, human capital development, and institutional cooperation.
Bringing together policymakers, academics, representatives of analytical centers, international organizations, financial institutions, and the business community, the conference provided a platform for exchanging expertise and discussing future directions for economic cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States.
